Interim Bank Account Reconciliation

Glossary

 

This activity allows you to transfer of balances from Interim Account to Control Account. Reconciliation is done through the generation of transfer vouchers. You can use a search criterion and also provide the bank statement based on which the eligible transactions will be fetched. You can enter the date of the transfer vouchers and you can default the date to generate the transfer vouchers. The system retrieves and displays the document details. You can then generate the transfer vouchers for the transactions retrieved.

The “Interim Bank Account Reconciliation” page appears.

Finance Book ID

Use the drop-down list box to select the code identifying the finance book for the transaction. All the finance books that are defined in the “Organization Setup” component will be available for selection. The system displays the first value loaded by default on launch of the page.

Route

Use the drop-down list box to select the payment route based on which the eligible transactions will be fetched. The routes defined in the “Bank Cash Definition” component will be available for selection. Bank/PTT The system displays the first value loaded by default on launch of the page.

Bank/PTT Code

Use the drop-down list box to select the bank / PTT through which the payment is made for the transaction. The bank / PTT codes defined in the login organization unit for which the user has access rights will be available for selection. The system displays the first value loaded by default on launch of the page.

Doc. Type

Use the drop-down list box to select the document type of the transaction. The document types, for which postings to interim accounts are applicable is defined in the “CPS” component will be available for selection. The system displays “All” by default on the launch of the page.

Doc. Date From

The starting date in the range of dates identifying the starting document date for the transaction. (Date Format).

To

The ending date in the range of dates identifying the ending document date for the transaction. (Date Format).

Statement No.

The number identifying the bank statement. (Integer).

Doc. Date From

The starting date in the range of dates identifying the starting document date for the transaction. (Date Format).

To

The ending date in the range of dates identifying the ending document date for the transaction. (Date Format).

Statement No.

The number identifying the bank statement. (Integer).

Date

The date on which the transfer voucher is generated. (Date Format).

The system displays the following in the “Document Details” group box:

Doc. Type

The code identifying the type of document.

Doc. No.

The number identifying the document.

Doc. Date

The date of the document.

Doc. Amount

The total document amount.

Transfer Voucher Amount

The amount of the voucher, which is transferred.

Instrument No.

The number identifying the instrument used for the document.

Instrument Date

The date on which the instrument was made.

Transfer Voucher Type

The type of voucher, which is transferred.

Transfer Voucher No.

The new voucher number generated on transfer.

Transfer Voucher Date

The date of the transfer voucher
