This page allows you to update the document information of an asset, if the asset is created without any basis of the invoices. The system displays the tag information of an asset like the number identifying the asset and its description, the number identifying the asset tag and its cost. You can specify the document information like the document type, the date on which the document is raised, the number identifying the document, the name of the supplier who raised the document, the number identifying the asset proposal, the date on which the goods was received, exchange of the currency, the amount that has been capitalized in the document.
Select the “Document Details” link at the bottom of the “Create Complex Asset” page.
The “Document Details” page appears.
The system displays the following in the “Tag Information” group box:

Enter the following fields in the “Doc. Information” multiline:

Doc. Type |
The type of the document (Alphanumeric, 40). |

Doc. Date |
The date on which the document was raised (Date Format). |

Doc. No. |
The number identifying the document (Alphanumeric, 18). |
|
Supplier Name |
The name of the supplier who raised the document (Alphanumeric, 40). |

Proposal No. |
The number identifying the asset proposal based on which the capital purchase order has been raised (Alphanumeric, 18). The asset proposal must have been defined in the “Create Asset Proposal” activity of the “Asset Planning” business component. |

GR Date |
The date on which the goods receipt was raised (Date Format). |
|
Currency |
The currency in which the goods receipt was raised (Alphanumeric, 5). |

Exchange Rate |
The exchange rate of the currency (Alphanumeric, 5). |

Capitalization Amount |
The amount capitalized in the document (Decimal). |
Note: The sum total of all the capitalization amounts in the multiline must be equal to the cost of the tag.

Remarks |
Any remarks pertaining to the document updation (Alphanumeric, 100). |
Click the “Update Doc. Details” pushbutton to update the document for an asset.
The system saves the document information entered for an asset.
