This activity allows you to set the function defaults for the “Account Rule Definition” business component. You can specify whether sale accounts can be defined based on items and consumption accounts can be defined based on parameters. The system sets the functional default values the first time and saves the modifications made to it thereafter. The system also updates the login ID of the user and the system date along with the creation and modification detaills.
Select the “Set Function Parameters” link under the “Account Rule Definition” business component.
The “Set Function Parameters” page appears.
Enter the following fields:
Sale Accounting based on Item |
Use the drop-down list box to specify whether sale accounts can be defined based on items. You can select from “Yes” and “No”. The system displays “Yes” by default on launch of the page, if the value is set for the first time. |
Consumption Accounting based on Parameters |
Use the drop-down list box to specify whether consumption accounts can be defined based on parameters. |
Click the “Set” pushbutton to set the function default.
The system saves the functional defaults that have been set. The system also stores the login ID of the user and the system date along with the default details.
