This page allows you to view the usage details of a cost center. Tell me more.
Select the “View Usage” link from the “View Sale Center Rule Definition” page.
Note: You can also launch this page from the “View Purchase Cost Center Rule Definition”, “View Inventory Cost Center Rule Definition” and “View TCD Cost Center Rule Definition” pages for sales and purchase TCD.
The “View Usage” page appears.
Enter the following in the “Search Criteria” group box:

Usage ID. From |
The starting code in the range of codes identifying the usage that has been defined for the cost center (Alphanumeric, 20). You can enter the code in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves and displays usages with codes similar to the value entered here. |

The ending code in the range of codes identifying the usage that has been defined for the cost center (Alphanumeric, 20). You can enter the code in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves and displays usages with codes similar to the value entered here. |

Usage Short Desc. |
A short description pertaining to the cost center usage (Alphanumeric, 40). Mandatory. |

A description pertaining to the cost center usage (Alphanumeric, 40). Mandatory. |
Click the “Search” pushbutton to search for usage details.
The system retrieves and displays the following in the “Usage Details” multiline:

You can view the usage details of
Cost centers that has been derived for sales revenue account
Cost centers that has been derived for purchase expense account
Cost centers that has been derived for inventory
Cost centers that has been derived for TCD postings of sales transactions
Cost centers that has been derived for TCD postings of purchase transactions
Based on the page from which the “View Usage” page is launched, the details of the usage that are defined for sales, purchase, inventory, sale – TCD or purchase – TCD cost centers can be viewed.
