This activity allows you exempt sale orders from credit check. You can also release the sale order from exemption. You can exempt or undo the exempt operation on a sale order. You can retrieve the sale order by carrying out the search using the code identifying the customer, the business unit, the code identifying the sale order, the organization unit in which the sale order has been raised, the amount of the sale order, the transaction currency of the sale order and the date on which the sale order has been raised.
The system retrieves the sale order details based on the search criteria. The system stores the login ID of the user and the system date along with the transaction details and the reason code.
Select the “Exempt Sale Orders” link under the “Credit Management” business component.
The “Exempt Sale Orders” page appears.
Enter the following field:

Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box to search for the sale order:

Customer Code From |
The starting number in the range of customer codes from which the details are to be retrieved (Alphanumeric, 32). |

To |
The ending number in the range of customer codes till which the details are to be retrieved (Alphanumeric, 32). The code entered here must be greater than or equal to the code specified in the “Customer Code From” field. |

BU |
Use the drop-down list box to select the business unit. The system displays “All” by default on launch of the page. The system lists all the business units of the login company. |

Sale Order No. From |
The starting number in the range of sale order numbers from which the details are to be retrieved (Decimal). The system retrieves the sale orders where the number is greater than or equal to the number specified here. |

To |
The ending number in the range of sale order numbers till which the details are to be retrieved (Decimal). The system retrieves the sale orders where the number is less than or equal to the number specified here. The sale order specified here must be greater than the sale order number entered in the “Sale Order No. From” field. |

Ordering Point |
Use the drop-down list box to select the organization unit in which the sale order has been raised. The system lists the organization unit mapped to the login company or BU. The system lists the first organization unit in the list by default on launch of the page. |

Amount From |
The starting amount in the range of sale order amount from which the details are to be retrieved (Decimal). The system retrieves the sale order whose amount is greater than or equal to the amount specified here. |

To |
The ending amount in the range of sale order amount till which the details are to be retrieved (Decimal). The system retrieves the sale order whose amount is less than or equal to the amount specified here. The amount specified here must be greater than or equal to the amount specified in “Amount From” field. |

Currency |
Use the drop-down list box to select the currency of the sale order. The system lists the currencies mapped to the login organization unit. The system displays “All” by default on launch of the page. |

Date From |
The starting date in the range of dates from which the details are to be retrieved (Date Format). The system retrieves the sale orders that are raised later than the date specified here. |

To |
The ending date in the range of dates till which the details are to be retrieved (Date Format). The system retrieves the sale orders that are raised earlier than the date specified here. The date specified here must be greater than or equal to the date specified in the “Date From” field. |
Click the “Search” pushbutton to retrieve the sale order details.
The system displays the following fields in the “Sale Order Details” multiline:

Order No. |
The number identifying the sale order. |
|
Date |
The date on which the sale order was raised. |
|
Customer Code |
The code identifying the customer on whom the sale order has been raised. |
|
Amount |
The total amount of the sale order. |
|
Currency |
The transaction currency of the sale order. |
|
Reason Code |
The code identifying the reason for which the sale order has been exempt or the exemption has been revoked. |

Comments |
Any comments pertaining to the exempt / undo exempt transaction. |

Ordering Point |
The login organization unit from which the sale order has been raised. |
Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to mark the sale order
Click the “Exempt” pushbutton to exempt sale order(s) from credit checks.
Note: Atleast one document must be selected in the multiline for exempting.
The “Action” selected must be “Exempt”.
The system saves the login ID of the user as the created by and the system date as the created date.
The system also saves the reason code and the remarks for the transaction.
Click the “Undo Exempt” pushbutton to undo the exemption of credit check for the sale order(s).
Note: Atleast one document must be selected in the multiline for undoing exemption. The “Action” selected must be “Undo Exempt”.
The system saves the login ID of the user as the created by and the system date as the created date.
The system also saves the reason code and the remarks for the transaction.
