Set Credit Check – A summary of the activity

You can also modify the already existing credit check setup. The credit rating for the customers is calculated based on the credit check setup. If the BU’s span across companies in the installation, the credit check setup happens at the BU level.  If BU’s are internal to companies, credit check setup is done for the company.

This activity facilitates the definition of credit buckets for aging overdue balances of customers and credit check. Upto nine credit buckets can be activated for a setup. The credit check setup also defines the credit rating limits, which regulate the customer credit status. Independent limits on credit rating can be set, exceeding which, actions like holding the sale order or shipment or issue of material are triggered. You can specify the frequency based on which the credit check must be run and customer credit rating is computed.

The system saves the login ID of the user and the system date along with the modification details.
