Viewing fixed assets parameters

This page allows you to view the process parameters that have been set for the “Fixed Assets Management” business process chain.

Select the “View Function Parameters – Fixed Assets” link from the “Company Parameter Setup” business component.

The “View Function Parameters – Fixed Assets” page appears.

The system displays the following in the “Process Parameters” group box:

Allow Zero Value Assets For EAM Documents	A specification of whether assets with zero value can be capitalized for “Enterprise Asset Management” documents.
Allow FB Closure Before Inventory Completion	A specification of whether the Finance book can be closed before inventory completion.
Allow Downward Revaluation	A specification of whether assets can be revalued with the revaluation type as “Downward” revaluation.
Automatic Creation of Asset ID (Part A)	A specification of whether asset numbers are automatically generated with the asset class code as prefix, in the “Asset Capitalization” business component.
Currency Validation Required For Asset Budget	A specification of whether the currency in which an asset budget is prepared must be validated.
Retirement Proposal Not Required For Amounts Below	The minimum value of an asset above which alone a retirement proposal for the asset can be created.
Exchange Rate Type For Asset Management	The exchange rate type based on which exchange rates will be retrieved in all the business components of the “Fixed Assets Management” business process chain.
Residual Value Applicability	A specification of whether the Residual Value for depreciation computation is applicable for Fixed assets.
Residual Value %	Provide the Residual value % applicable for all the assets and will be defaulted during asset creation / asset amendment (with new tag)
