Basics of using Ramco Enterprise Series web page

This Help page allows you to search and select a group cost center / unit and transfer the details to the field where it is required. You can carry out a search by specifying a range of cost center units, user ID, Desc., effective date and the expiry date. The system retrieves the details based on the search criteria entered.

The “Help On Group Cost Center / Unit” page appears.

Cost Center / Unit From

The starting code in the range of code identifying the group cost center / unit that you want to retrieve. (Alphanumeric, 18).

To

The ending code in the range of code identifying the group cost center / unit that you want to retrieve. (Alphanumeric, 18).

User ID.

The login ID of the user who created the group cost center. (Alphanumeric, 18).

Cost Center Type

Use the drop down list box to select Cost Center type. The combo will be loaded with all the 'Cost Center type Description', set and saved in the Set Function Parameters in Cost Setup component, of the respective login OUs BU. The system displays "All" by default on launch of the page.

Desc.

A textual description of the group cost center /unit.

Effective Date

Use the drop-down list box to select the date from which the group cost center is effective.

Expiry Date

Use the drop-down list box to select the date on which the group cost center is to expire.

The system retrieves and displays the following in the multiline based on the search criteria entered:

Cost center / Unit

The code identifying the cost center / unit.

Desc.

A textual description of the cost center.

Long Desc.

A long textual description of the cost center.

Effective Date

The effective date of the group cost center.

Expiry Date

The expiry date of the group cost center.
