Basics of using Ramco Enterprise Series web page

This page allows you to add burden to the cost elements. . You can select the burden basis. You can view the burden element and the associated element description. You can also enter the burden factor either as ‘Flat’ or ‘Percentage’. The system creates the cost burden based on the burden factor and the burden basis.

The “Additional Cost Burden” page appears.

The system displays the following:

Request ID.

The number identifying the request of the rollup.

Status

The status of the request.

Valid From Date

The date on which the rollup is valid from.

Item Org. Unit

The organization unit where the costs are mapped to the login OU in the CIM.

Include Scrap Factors

The values showing whether the scrap factors are included.

Cost Type

The type of the cost. It could be the values predefined and taken from the “CSET Component”.

Rollup Option

The type of rollup option in which the rollup was done. It could be “Single Level” or “Multi Level”.

Process

The process where the exception occurred. It could be “Explosion”, “Process Costs Calculation”, “Rollup” and “All”.

Burden Basis

Use the drop-down list box to burden basis of the cost element. You can select from “Flat” and “Percentage”.

The system displays the following:

Burden Element

The code identifying the burden element.

Desc.

A textual description of the burden element.

Burden Factor

The burden factor of the cost element. If “Flat” is selected in the “Burden Basis” then a flat amount should be entered. If “Percentage” is selected then a percentage amount must be entered.

The system saves the values and creates the cost burden on the cost.
