Selecting plan for apportionment

This page allows you to select the plan for apportioning the allocated amount. Tell me more.

Select the “Apportion Plan By Period” link under the “Budget” business component.

The “Select Plan” page appears.

To search for a plan

Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box to search for a plan:

Financial Year	Use the drop-down list box to retrieve plans based on the financial year for which it was created. The system fills in all the financial years that have been defined in the “Create Calendar” activity under the “Accounting Setup” business component of Ramco Corporate Solutions. and are in the “Open” status. Ensure the following:
	You do not select a financial year for which a plan exists in the “Closed” status.
	A plan exists in the “Approved” status for the selected financial year.
	The allocation details are already defined for the plan of the selected financial year.

The system displays the current financial year by default.

Location

Use the drop-down list box to select the location for which apportioning must be done. The system lists all the locations that belong to the primary system. The system displays the apex location, by default.

Click the “Search” pushbutton.

Based on the filter criteria entered, the system retrieves in the “Search Results” in multiline. It displays work type and work category for which allocations have been made for a location for the approved plan of the selected financial year:

Plan No.	The plan retrieved by the system.
Type	The work type for which the plan was created.
Category	The work category for which the plan was created.

Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline, to select the plan for which apportionment must be done.

To proceed, carry out the following

Select the “Apportion Plan by Period” link from the bottom of the page to apportion the plan.
