This page allow you to close a single clearance request. Tell me more.

The “Close Request” page appears.

Clearance Request

The clearance request that must be closed (Alphanumeric, 30).

               

Press <Enter>. The system retrieves the details of the clearance request.

The system displays the following fields:

Date

The date on which the clearance request is created.

Status

The status of the clearance request, which should be “Approved”.

Reason

The reason for which the clearance request is created.

Clearance Req From Date

The date from which clearance is required for the equipment or location.

Permit Type

The type of the permit that must be raised from the clearance request.

Category

The category of the clearance request.

Clearance Req To

The date till which clearance is required for the equipment or location.

User Defined 1

Any additional information about the clearance request.

User Defined 2

Any additional information about the clearance request.

The system displays the following fields in the “Raised By” group box:

Employee

The login ID of the employee who has raised the clearance request.

Contractor

The contractor who has raised the clearance request.

The system displays the following fields in the “Permit Holder” group box:

Employee

The login ID of the employee who is responsible for holding the permit.

Contractor

The contractor who is responsible for holding the permit.

The system displays the following fields in the “WO/IO/CO” multiline:

Type

The type of the document based on which clearance request is raised.

WO / IO / CO No.

The identifier of the work order or inspection order or calibration order based on which the clearance request is raised.

Desc.

The description of the work order, calibration or inspection order.

Remarks

Any additional information about the clearance request being raised.

The system displays the following fields in the “Eqp./Loc.” multiline:

Request On

Indicates whether the clearance request is raised on an equipment or location. The system displays “Equipment” or “Location”.

Code

The identifier of the equipment or location for which the clearance request is raised

Desc.

The description of the equipment or location.

Remarks

Any additional information about the clearance request

Remarks

Any additional information about closing the clearance request (Alphanumeric, 255).

Note: Ensure that you close a clearance request on which no clearance permit is pending i.e. clearance permits that are raised based on the clearance request must not be in the “Fresh”, “Approved”, “Wait For Ext” and “Extended” statuses.

The system closes the clearance request and sets the status of the clearance request as “Closed”. The system also stores the login ID of the user who has closed the clearance requests along with the date and time of closing.

The system displays the following fields in the “Record Statistics” group box:

Created By

The login ID of the user who created the clearance request.

Created Date

The date and time at which the clearance request was created.

Last Modified By

The login ID of the user who last modified the clearance request.

Last Modified Date

Close Clearance Request - A summary of the activity

You can close a single clearance request in this page. You can close a clearance request that is selected in the previous page. You can also enter a clearance request in this page and close it. You can also record any additional information about closing the clearance request. The system closes the clearance request and sets the status of the clearance request as “Closed”.
