This page allows you to retrieve a hazard. You can carry out the search using the hazard, its description, status and hazard type. The system displays details such as the hazard, its description, hazard type and status.
Click the lens icon positioned next to the “Hazard” field in the main screen.
The “Help On Hazards” page appears.
Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box to carry out a search for the hazard:

Hazard |
The hazard to be retrieved (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the hazard in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all hazards, which are similar to the hazard entered here. |

Desc. |
The description of the hazard (Alphanumeric, 150). You can enter the description in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all hazards with similar descriptions. |

Status |
Use the drop-down list box to retrieve hazards based on the status. The system provides the options: “Active” and “Inactive”. Leave the field blank to retrieve hazards irrespective of the status. The system displays “Active”, by default. |

Hazard Type |
Use the drop-down list box to retrieve hazards based on hazard type. The system fills in all the hazard types that have been defined in the “Define Hazard Types” activity. Leave the field blank, to retrieve hazards irrespective of the type. The system leaves the field blank, by default. |
Click the “Search” pushbutton.
Based on the filter criteria entered, the system retrieves the following fields in the “Search Results” multiline:

The hazard retrieved by the system. |

Desc. |
The description of the hazard. |

Hazard Type |
The type of the hazard. |
|
Status |
The status of the hazard, which can be “Active” or “Inactive”. |
Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to select the hazard.
Click the “OK” pushbutton.
