Generate Calibration Forecast – A summary of the activity

This activity allows you to select calibration schedules and view the dates on which calibration orders are due during a specified period. You can select the calibration schedules by carrying out a search based on the following fields:

• The calibration, its description and type

• The equipment on which calibration must be carried out

• The work group that is responsible for carrying out the calibration

• The task or procedure that must be performed as a part of calibration

• The location of the equipment on which calibration must be done

You can then specify the forecast period for which you wish to view the calibration schedules that are due. Based on the search criteria the system retrieves the calibration schedules that are due to be performed in the forecast period.

You can also save the details of the forecast that is done for the purpose of review later on. You can save the forecast details by entering a forecast review number and a description. The system saves the forecast details and assigns the current system date as the date on which the forecast was done.
