Calibration Order - An overview
Introduction
Calibration can be defined as the act of keeping a piece of measuring equipment in satisfactory working order, where in the systematic deviation in measurements is determined, based on predefined conditions of use, without actively changing the set up of the equipment. When the equipment is adjusted, the systematic deviation in measurements is corrected as required for its use. This can be achieved by having plans/schedules for such equipment or facility to carry out calibration activities. The schedules for a Calibration job can be based on both date as well as usage of the equipment.
