In this page, you can define the equipment criticality. Tell me more.
Select the “Define Equipment Criticality” link under the “Equipment Induction” business component.
The “Define Equipment Criticality” page appears.
Note: When this page is invoked, the system lists all the equipment criticalities that are already defined in the system, in the multiline. You can modify these details, if required.
Enter the following fields in the “Eqp. Criticality” multiline:

Criticality |
A unique identifier for the criticality of the equipment (Alphanumeric, 30). Mandatory. This field can be a combination of characters and numbers and cannot be left blank. Once created, this field cannot be modified. |

Desc. |
The description of the equipment criticality (Alphanumeric, 150). |

Status |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the status of the equipment criticality, to either “Active” or “Inactive”. |
Note: If you leave this field blank, the system assigns the “Active” status to the equipment criticality.

Seq. No. |
The sequence in which the criticality should be displayed wherever the equipment criticality is referred (Integer). Ensure that the sequence number is a positive integer and is unique in the multiline. |

If you have left the sequence number blank for all the multiline rows, the system rearranges the multiline rows in the alphabetical order of criticality and automatically assigns a sequence number to each of them, in multiples of five, on clicking the “”Submit” pushbutton. |
Note: If you have left the sequence number blank for some of the multiline rows, the system arranges those rows in the alphabetical order of criticality, and numbers these rows to be the last in the sequence. The system then rearranges the rows in the ascending order of the sequence number and renumbers the rows with multiples of five.
The system displays the following fields on clicking the “Submit” pushbutton:

The login ID of the user who last modified the equipment criticality details. |

Last Mod. Date |
The date on which the criticality details were last modified. |

Last Mod. Time |
The time at which the criticality details were last modified. |

Created By |
The login ID of the user who created the criticality. |
|
Created Date |
The date on which the criticality was created. |
|
Created Time |
The time at which the criticality was created. |
Click the “Submit” pushbutton, to add the equipment criticality in the database.
Note: The system creates the equipment criticality and generates the sequence numbers for those rows for which the sequence number has not been specified.

Add or modify equipment criticality details
You can define user – defined criticalities for equipment. You can also modify an existing criticality.
Enter the criticality in the “Criticality” field.
Set the status of the criticality in the “Status” field.
Click the “Submit” pushbutton to define the criticalities.
