Selecting specification template for modification

You can select the specification template for modifying its details. Tell me more

Select the “Edit Specification Template” link under the “Equipment Induction” business component.

The “Select Specification Template” page appears.

To search for a specification template

Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box, to search for a specification template.

Classification	The asset classification that you wish to modify (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the classification in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all asset classifications similar to the classification entered here.
Sub-Classification	The sub-classification belonging to the classification that you wish to modify (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the sub-classification in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all sub-classifications similar to the sub-classification entered here.
Status	Use the drop-down list box to retrieve specification template based on the status. The system provides the options “Active” and “Inactive”. Leave the field blank, to retrieve classifications irrespective of the status. The system displays “Active” by default.
Specification Template	The specification template of the classification – sub-classification combination (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the specification template in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all asset classifications, which belong to similar specification templates.

Click the “Search” pushbutton.

Based on the filter criteria entered, the system retrieves the following fields in the “Search Results” multiline:

Classification	The asset classification retrieved by the system.
Sub-Classification	The sub-classification defined for the classification.
Status	The status of the classification – sub-classification combination, which can be “Active” or “Inactive”.
Specification Template	The specification template of the classification – sub-classification combination.

Click the hyperlinked classification in the multiline, to edit its details.

Selecting specification template for modification – An overview

You can carry out a search based on the classification, sub-classification, status and the number of the specification template. Based on the filter criteria entered, the system retrieves the specification templates for modification.
