This page allows you to select an asset structure for modification. Tell me more
Select the “Edit Asset Structure Code” link under the “Equipment Induction” business component.
The “Select Asset Structure Code” page appears.
Enter the following field in the "Direct Entry" group box, if you know the asset structure to be modified:

Asset Structure |
The asset structure for which the details are to be modified (Alphanumeric, 30). |
Select the “Edit Asset Structure Code” link provided alongside, to modify the asset structure information.
To search for an asset structure
Enter the following filter criteria to search for an asset structure. Data entry in the following fields is optional:

Asset Structure |
The asset structure you wish to modify (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the asset structure in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all asset structures similar to the asset structure entered here. |

Desc. |
The description of the asset structure (Alphanumeric, 150). You can enter the description in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all asset structures with description similar to the description entered here. |

Type |
Use the drop-down list box to retrieve asset structures based on their type. The system provides the options “Rotable”, “Normal” and “Spares”. Leave the field blank to retrieve asset structures irrespective of the type. The system displays “Normal”, by default. |

Status |
Use the drop-down list box to retrieve asset structures based on their status. The system provides the options “Active” and “Inactive”. Leave the field blank to retrieve asset structures irrespective of the type. The system displays “Active”, by default. |

Classification |
Use the drop-down list box to retrieve asset structures based on the classification. The system lists all the classifications that are defined in the “Create Specification Template” activity and which are in the “Active” status. Leave the field blank to retrieve asset structures irrespective of the classification. |

Sub-Classification |
Use the drop-down list box to retrieve asset structures based on the sub-classification. The system lists all the sub-classifications that are defined for the selected classification in the “Create Specification Template” activity, and which are in the “Active” status. Leave the field blank to retrieve asset structures irrespective of the sub-classification. |
Click the "Search" pushbutton.
The system retrieves the asset structures in the multiline, based on the filter criteria entered.

Selecting asset structure for modification – An overview
You can directly enter an asset structure. Otherwise, you can carry out a search based on the asset structure, its description, type, status, classification and sub-classification. The system retrieves the asset structures based on the search criteria, from which you can select the asset structure for editing.
