In this page, you can select the asset structure for viewing its hierarchy. Tell me more

Select the “View Asset Structure Hierarchy” link under the “Equipment Induction” business component.

The “Select Asset Structure Code” page appears.

Enter the following field in the "Direct Entry" group box, if you know the asset structure for which you wish to view the hierarchy:

Asset Structure

The asset structure for which you wish to view the hierarchy (Alphanumeric, 30).

Select the “View Hierarchy” link provided alongside, to build the hierarchy for the asset structure.

To search for the asset structure

Enter the following filter criteria in the "Search Criteria" group box, to search for an asset structure. Data entry in the following fields is optional:

Asset Structure	The asset structure for which you wish to view the hierarchy (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the asset structure in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all asset structures similar to the asset structure entered here.
Desc.	The description of the asset structure (Alphanumeric, 150). You can enter the description in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all asset structures with description similar to the description entered here.
Status	Use the drop-down list box to retrieve asset structures based on their status. The system provides the options “Active” and “Inactive”. Leave the field blank to retrieve asset structures irrespective of the type. The system displays “Active”, by default.
Type	Use the drop-down list box to retrieve asset structures based on their type. The system provides the options “Rotable” and “Normal”. Leave the field blank to retrieve asset structures irrespective of the type. The system displays “Normal”, by default.

Click the “Search” pushbutton.

The system retrieves the asset structures in the multiline, based on the filter criteria entered.

Asset Structure	The asset structure retrieved by the system.
Desc.	The description of the asset structure.
Type	The type of the asset structure.
Status	The status of the asset structure, whether “Active” or “Inactive”.

Click the hyperlinked asset structure in the multiline, to view its hierarchy.

Selecting asset structure for viewing hierarchy – An overview

You can enter the asset structure directly. Otherwise, you can select the asset structure, by carrying out a search based on the asset structure, its description, the type of the asset structure and its status. The system retrieves the asset structures based on the search criteria entered.
