Parameter

The parameter for which the details must be viewed (Alphanumeric, 30).

To search for a parameter

Parameter

The parameter for which the details must be viewed (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the parameter in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all the parameters whose values are similar to the value entered here. Leave the field blank to retrieve all the parameters.

Desc.

The textual description of the parameter (Alphanumeric, 150). You can enter the description in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all the parameters whose descriptions are similar to the description entered here. Leave the field blank to retrieve all the parameters.

Status

Use the drop-down list box to select the status of the parameter. The system provides the options “Active” and “Inactive”. Leave the field blank to retrieve all the parameters irrespective of their status. The system sets the field to “Active” by default.

UOM

The unit of measurement of the parameter (Alphanumeric, 10). Enter this field only for range and consumption parameters.

Type

Use the drop-down list box to select the type of the parameter. The system provides the options “Technical”, “Attribute”, “Range” and “Consumption”. The system retrieves all the parameters that are of the type selected in this field. Leave the field blank to retrieve parameters irrespective of their type. The system leaves the field blank by default.

The system displays the following fields in the multiline based on the filter criteria entered:

Parameter

The parameter retrieved by the system.

Desc.

The textual description of the parameter.

Type

The type of the parameter, which can be “Technical”, “Attribute”, “Range” or “Consumption”.

UOM

The unit of measurement of the range or consumption parameter.

Status

Selecting parameter for viewing – An overview

View Parameter - A summary of the activity

You can enter the parameter directly, if you are aware of the exact parameter to be viewed. Otherwise you can search for a parameter by providing filter criteria based on parameter description, type, status and unit of measurement. The details of the parameter such as the parameter description, type, unit of measurement and status are displayed in the multiline.
