In this page, you can select the spare structure for viewing its hierarchy. Tell me more.

Select the “View Spare Structure Hierarchy” link under the “Equipment Induction” business component.

The “Select Spare Structure Code” page appears.

Enter the following field in the "Direct Entry" group box, if you know the spare structure for which you wish to view the hierarchy:

Spare Structure

The spare structure for which you wish to view the hierarchy (Alphanumeric, 30).

Select the “View Hierarchy” link provided alongside, to view the hierarchy for the spare structure.

To search for a spare structure

Enter the following filter criteria in the "Search Criteria" group box, to search for a spare structure. Data entry in the following fields is optional:

Spare Structure	The spare structure for which you wish to view the hierarchy (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the spare structure in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all spare structures similar to the spare structure entered here.
Status	Use the drop-down list box to retrieve spare structures based on their status. The system provides the options “Active” and “Inactive”. Leave the filed blank to retrieve spare structures irrespective of the type. The system displays “Active”, by default.
Desc.	The description of the spare structure (Alphanumeric, 150). You can enter the description in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all spare structures with description similar to the description entered here.

Click the “Search” pushbutton to display the search result.

The system retrieves the spare structures in the multiline, based on the filter criteria entered.

Spare Structure	The spare structure retrieved by the system.
Desc.	The description of the spare structure.
Status	The status of the spare structure, whether “Active” or “Inactive”.

Click the hyperlinked spare structure in the multiline, to view its hierarchy.

Selecting spare structure for viewing hierarchy – An overview

You can enter the spare structure directly. Otherwise, you can select the spare structure, by carrying out a search based on the spare structure, its description and its status. The system retrieves the spare structures based on the search criteria entered.
