In this page, you can modify the details of the user-defined group selected in the main page. Tell me more.
Select the “Edit User Defined Group” link from the “User Defined Group Selection” page. Alternatively, select the hyperlinked user defined group in the multiline of the same page.
The “Edit User Defined Group” page appears.
If you wish to retrieve the details of a user-defined group other than the user-defined group selected in the main page, enter the following field:

Press <Enter>. The textual description of the user-defined group is retrieved alongside. You can modify the description (Alphanumeric, 150). Zoom facility available. |
The system displays the details of the user-defined group, in the following fields.
Enter the following fields in the ”Equipment” multiline, to add equipment to the user-defined group:

The equipment to be included in the user-defined group (Alphanumeric, 30). This equipment should have already been defined in the “Create Equipment” activity and it should be in “Active” status. |

Press <Enter>. The system displays the “Description” field in the multiline. |

Remarks |
Any additional remark pertaining to the association of equipment to the user-defined group (Alphanumeric, 255). |
Check the box in the ”Select” column of the multiline, to remove the equipment from the user-defined group.
Click the Delete icon in the tool bar above the multiline, to delete the selected equipment from the user-defined group.
Click the “Edit” pushbutton, to modify the details of the user-defined group.
Note: The system updates the details of the user-defined group and sets the “Last Modified By” field to the login ID of the currently logged in user and the “Last modified Date” field to the current date.
The system displays the following fields in the “Record Statistics” group box:

The login ID of the user who created the user-defined group. |

Created Date |
The date and time on which the user-defined group was created. |

Last Modified By |
The login ID of the user who last modified the user-defined group. |

The date and time on which the user-defined group was last modified. |
Editing user defined group details – An overview
You can also directly enter a user-defined group other than the user-defined group selected in the main page, and retrieve its details for modification. Details such as the user-defined group description and status can be modified. You can also include or remove equipment belonging to the user-defined group. You can use the help facility to select the equipment to be included in the user-defined group.
The system updates the details of the work group and sets the last modified date to the current server date and stores the login ID of the currently logged in user.
You can edit the details of a user-defined group that is already defined.
Enter the modified description of the user-defined group in the edit box alongside the “User Defined Group” field.
Modify the status of the user-defined group to “Active” or “Inactive”.
Re-define the equipment in the user-defined group by entering new equipment in the “Equipment” in the “Equipment” multiline or by deleting existing equipment from the user-defined group.
Click the “Edit” pushbutton to modify the user-defined group.
