Basics of using a Ramco iEnterprise Series 4.0 web page

Using On Line Help

In this page, you can retrieve the details of parameters that are already defined. You can carry out a search based on the parameter, its description, type, status and unit of measurement. The details of parameters that match the specified filter criteria are displayed in the multiline.

The “Parameter Help” page appears.

Enter the following filter criteria in the "Search Criteria" group box to search for a parameter:

Parameter

The identifier of the parameter (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the parameter in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all the parameters with values that are similar to the value entered here. Leave the field blank to retrieve all the parameters.

Desc.

The textual description of the parameter (Alphanumeric, 150). You can enter the description in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all the parameters with descriptions that are similar to the description entered here. Leave the field blank to retrieve all the parameters.

Type

Use the drop-down list box to select the type of the parameter. The system provides the options “Technical”, “Attribute”, “Range” and “Consumption”. The system retrieves all the parameters that are of the type selected in this field. Leave the field blank to retrieve parameters irrespective of their type.

UOM

The unit of measurement of the parameter (Alphanumeric, 10). Enter this field, only if you are searching for range or consumption parameters.

Status

Use the drop-down list box to select the status of the parameter. The system provides the options “Active” and “Inactive”. Leave the field blank to retrieve all parameters irrespective of their status. The system sets the field to “Active” by default.

The system displays the following fields in the multiline based on the filter criteria entered:

Parameter

The identifier of the parameter.

Desc.

The textual description of the parameter.

Type

The type of the parameter, which can be “Technical”, “Attribute”, “Range” or “Consumption”.

UOM

The unit of measurement of the parameter. The system displays this field only if the parameter type is “Range” or “Consumption”.

Status

The status of the parameter which can be “Active” or “Inactive”.
