In this screen, you can select the classification by carrying out a search based on the classification, sub-classification, status, the number of the specification template and the parameter that is attached to the classification. Based on the filter criteria entered, the system retrieves the classifications.
Click the lens icon positioned next to the “Classification” field in the main screen.
The “Help On Classification” page appears.
Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box, to search for a classification.

Classification |
The asset classification that you wish to retrieve (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the classification in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all asset classifications similar to the classification entered here. |

Desc. |
The description of the classification (Alphanumeric, 150). You can enter the description in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all classifications with similar description. |

Status |
Use the drop-down list box to retrieve specification template based on the status. The system provides the options “Active” and “Inactive”. Leave the field blank, to retrieve classifications irrespective of the status. The system displays “Active” by default. |

Sub-Classification |
The sub-classification belonging to the classification that you wish to retrieve (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the sub-classification in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all sub-classifications similar to the sub-classification entered here. |

Desc. |
The description of the sub-classification (Alphanumeric, 150). You can enter the description in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all sub-classifications with similar description and belonging to the classification specified in the “Classification” field. |

Specification Template |
The specification template of the classification – sub-classification combination (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the specification template in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all asset classifications, which belong to similar specification templates. |

Mapped Parameter |
The parameter which is attached to the classification.(Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the parameter in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all classifications attached to similar parameters. |
Click the “Search” pushbutton to display the search results.
The system fills in the following fields in the “Search Results” multiline, based on the filter criteria entered:

The sub-classification defined for the classification. |

The description of the classification. |

The description of the sub-classification. |

Specification Template |
The specification template of the classification – sub-classification combination. |

Status |
The status of the classification – sub-classification combination, which can be “Active” or “Inactive”. |
Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to select the classification.
Click the “Ok” pushbutton.
