In this screen, you can select the inspection point attached to attribute or range parameters. You can carry out a search based on the inspection point, its description, status, the parameter to which it is attached, and the equipment or location to which is it attached. The system retrieves the inspection points based on the search criteria, in the multiline.
Click the lens icon positioned next to the “Inspection Point” field in the main screen.
The “Help On Inspection Points” page appears.
Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box:

Inspection Point |
The inspection point for which the details are to be retrieved (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the inspection point in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all the inspection points that are similar to the values entered here. |

Desc. |
Enter the full or part of the description of the inspection point to be retrieved (Alphanumeric, 150). The system retrieves all the inspection points with descriptions that are similar to the description entered here. |

Status |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the status of the inspection point to be modified. The system provides the options “Active” and “Inactive”. The system retrieves all the inspection points that are in the status specified here. Leave this field blank if you wish to retrieve details of inspection points irrespective of their status. The system leaves the field blank, by default. |

Inspection Point On |
Use the drop-down list box to specify whether you wish to retrieve inspection points attached to an equipment parameter or location parameter. The system provides the options “Equipment” or “Location”. |

Code |
The code of the equipment or location for which the inspection points must be retrieved (Alphanumeric, 30). |

Parameter |
The parameter to which the inspection point is attached (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the parameter in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all inspection points that are attached to similar parameters. |
Click the “Search” pushbutton to display the search results.
The system fills in the following fields in the “Search Results” multiline, based on the filter criteria entered:

The inspection point retrieved by the system. |

The description of the inspection point. |

Status |
The status of the inspection point, which could be “Active” or “Inactive”. |

Parameter |
The parameter to which the inspection point is attached. |

UOM |
The unit of measurement of a range parameter. |

Parameter Type |
The type of the parameter, which can be “Attribute” or “Range”. |
|
Inspection On |
The equipment or location on which inspection is carried out and for which the inspection point is attached to. |

Code |
The equipment or location code. |
Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to select the inspection point.
Click the “Ok” pushbutton.
