This page allows you to define the inspection order type with a unique code and provide a description and status for it.
Select the “Define Inspection Types” link under the “Inspection Order” business component.
The “Define Inspection Types” page appears.
Enter the following fields in the “Types” multiline

Type |
The unique identifier of the inspection type (Alphanumeric, 30). This field can be a combination of characters and numbers and cannot be left blank. Once created, this field cannot be modified. |

Desc. |
The textual description of the inspection type (Alphanumeric, 150). |

Status |
Use the drop-down list box to set the status of the inspection type. The system provides the options: “Active” and “Inactive”. Set the status as “Inactive” to disable the inspection type from being accessed in other activities. The system sets the status as “Active”, if you leave the field blank. |

Seq. No. |
The sequence in which the type should be listed wherever inspection types are referred to (Integer). Ensure that the sequence number is a positive integer and is unique to the multiline. |
If you have left the sequence number blank for all the multiline rows, the system rearranges the multiline rows in the alphabetical order of type and automatically assigns a sequence number to each of them, in multiples of five, when you click the "Submit" pushbutton.
Note: If you have left the sequence number blank for some of the multiline rows, the system arranges those rows in the alphabetical order of type, and numbers these rows to be the last in the sequence. The system then rearranges the rows in the ascending order of the sequence number and renumbers the rows with multiples of five.
The system fills in the following fields in the multiline:

Last Mod. By |
The login ID of the user who last modified the inspection type. |

Last Mod. Date |
The date on which the inspection type was last modified. |

Last Mod. Time |
The time at which the inspection type was last modified. |

Created By |
The login ID of the user who created the inspection type. |

Created Date |
The date on which the inspection type was created. |
|
Created Time |
The time at which the inspection type was created. |
Click the “Submit” pushbutton to create the inspection types or update the modified details of the inspection types.
Note: The system creates the inspection types and generates the sequence numbers for those rows for which the sequence number has not been specified. In the multiline, the system displays the created and modified date and time, and the login ID of the user who created or modified the inspection type.
