Help on Location–Equipment–Parameter

This page allows you to retrieve the details of the equipment or location based on specific search criteria. You can carry out the search using the equipment or location, its description, the location of equipment, the parameter and the inspection point for which you wish to retrieve the equipment. Based on the search criteria entered, the system retrieves the details of the equipment or location along with the attribute and range parameters attached to it. The system also retrieves the inspection point and the unit of measurement of the parameter.
Click the lens icon positioned next to the “Code” field in the main screen.
The “Help On Location – Equipment – Parameter” page appears.
Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box:

Update On |
The maintainable object, which you wish to retrieve. The system provides the options: “Equipment” or “Location”. Leave the field blank if you wish to retrieve both equipment and location. |

Code |
The identifier of the equipment or location (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the code in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves equipment or location having codes similar to the code entered here. |

Description |
The description of the equipment or location (Alphanumeric, 150). You can enter the description in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all inspection orders whose descriptions are similar to the description entered here. |

Location |
The location of the equipment (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the location in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves equipment whose locations are similar to the location entered here. |

Inspection Point
|
The inspection point on the equipment or location (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the inspection point in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves equipment or location to which inspection points similar to the inspection point entered here are attached. |

Parameter |
The parameter which must be monitored on the equipment or location (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the parameter in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves equipment or location to which parameters similar to the parameter entered here are attached. |
Click the “Search” pushbutton.
The system retrieves the following fields in the “Search Results” multiline:

Update On |
Identifies whether the maintainable object retrieved by the system is an “Equipment” or “Location”. |

Code |
The equipment or location retrieved by the system. |
|
Description |
The description of the equipment or location. |
|
Inspection Point |
The inspection point attached to the equipment/location. |
|
Parameter |
The parameter attached to the equipment/location. |
|
Parameter Type |
The type of the parameter which can be “Range” and “Attribute”. |
|
UOM |
The unit of measurement of the parameter. |
Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to select the equipment or location that has to be specified in the “Code” field.
Click the “OK” pushbutton.
