This page allows you to select the location to be viewed. Tell me more
Select the “View Location” link under the “EAM Maintenance Organization” business component.
The “Select Location” page appears.
Enter the following field in the “Direct Entry” group box if you are aware of the location for viewing

Location Code |
The location to be viewed (Alphanumeric, 30). |
Select the “View Location” link provided alongside to view its details.
To search for a location
Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box to search for a location:

Location Code |
The location to be viewed (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the location in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all locations with codes similar to the code entered in this field. |

Desc. |
The description of the location (Alphanumeric, 150). You can enter the description in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all locations with description similar to the description entered here. |

Parent Loc. |
The location that is the parent of the location in the primary system (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the location in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all locations, which belong to similar parent locations. |
|
Planning Group |
The planning group of the location (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the planning group in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all locations, which belong to similar planning groups. |

Landmark |
The description of any physical landmark in the plant that helps in identifying the location (Alphanumeric, 150). You can enter the landmark in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all locations, which can be identified by similar landmarks. |

Status |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the status of the location. The system provides the options ”Active” and “Inactive”. Leave the field blank to retrieve locations irrespective of their status. The system leaves the field blank by default. |

Location Type |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the type of the location. The system lists all the types that are defined in the “Define Location Types” activity. Leave the field blank to retrieve all location types. The system leaves the field blank by default. |
Click the “Search” pushbutton to retrieve the search results.
Note: If all the fields are left blank, the system retrieves all the locations in the multiline.
The system displays the following fields in the “Search Results” group box:

The landmark that helps in identifying the location. |

Selecting location for viewing – An overview
You can carry out a search based on the location code, its description, the system to which it belongs, parent location, planning group, landmark, parameter and status. The system retrieves the details based on the search criteria entered. Details such as the location, its description, location type, the system to which belongs, location status, planning group, parent location, parameter and landmark are displayed.
