Select the “Create Planning Group” link under the “EAM Maintenance Organization” business component.
The “Create Planning Group” page appears.
Enter the following field:

Planning Group |
A unique identifier for the planning group (Alphanumeric, 30). Mandatory. This field can be a combination of characters and numbers and cannot be left blank. |

Enter the textual description of the planning group in the edit box alongside (Alphanumeric, 150). |

Status |
Use the drop-down list box to set the status of the planning group to “Active” or “Inactive”. The system sets the field to “Active” by default. |

Set the status as “Inactive” if you wish to disable this planning group from future reference in other activities. |

Any additional remarks pertaining to the planning group (Alphanumeric, 255). |

Use the drop-down list box to select the type of the planning group. The system lists all the types that are in “Active” status, as defined in the “Define Common Type” activity. The system leaves the field blank by default. |
Click the “Create Planning Group” pushbutton to create the planning group.

The login ID of the user who created the planning group. |

Created Date |
The date and time on which the planning group is created. |

Last Modified By |
In this activity, this field contains the login ID of the user who created the planning group. |

In this activity, this field contains the date and time on which the planning group is created. |
You can create a planning group in this page
Enter the unique identifier of the planning group in the “Planning Group” field.
Set the status of the planning group to “Active” or “Inactive”.
Specify the type of the planning group in the “Type” field.
Click the “Create Planning Group” pushbutton.
