Select the “Maintain Alert Configuration” activity under the “Maintenance Organization” business component.
The “Maintain Alert Configuration” page appears.
- Clicking this icon available near certain fields takes you to the help page of the respective field.
Enter the following details in the header:

Transaction |
Use the drop-down list box to select the type of transaction. |

Event |
Use the drop-down list box to select the event. The combo is loaded with the values “Pre-Alert” and “Post-Alert”. Pre Alert – The users will get a notification before the event. Post Alert – The users will get a notification after the event. |

Effective From |
The effective start date of the event from which you wish to retrieve the details. |
|
Effective To |
The effective end date of the event from which you wish to retrieve the details. |
Click “Get Details” to retrieve the details in the multiline.
The following details are displayed in the Escalation details group box:

Basis |
Use the drop-down list box to select the event details on the basis of days or hours. |

Value |
The value of the event details in terms of days or hours. |
|
Details |
The detailed description of the event. |
Click the “Add Mail ID” hyperlink to launch the maintain Email id’s page, which is used to record multiple To / CC Mail ID’s.
Enter the following details in the header:

Use the drop-down list box to select the email id to whom the notification has to be sent. The combo is loaded with “To” and “CC”. |

The unique identification number of the sequence. |

The email id of the employee. |

Emp Code |
The unique code identifying the employee. |

Name |
On entering of employee code, the name employee gets displayed. |

Phone No |
The phone number of the employee. |
Click “Save” button to save the maintain email ID’s details.
Enter the following details in the multiline.

E-mail (To) |
The email address of the person to whom the email has to be sent. |

E-mail (CC) |
The email address of the person to whom the copy of the mail has to be sent. |

Subject |
The subject of the email which is to be sent. |

Location |
The location of the email address. |

Cost Centre |
The unique code identifying the cost center. |
Click “Save” button to save the escalation details.
The system displays the following in the “Data History” group box:

The login ID of the user who created the alert details. |

Created Date |
The date and time at which the alert details was created. |
|
Modified By |
The login ID of the user who modified the alert details. |

Modified Date |
The date and time at which the alert details was last modified. |
