Redefining the inspection points for location parameters – An overview
An inspection point is the physical point on the location, where the performance of the location is monitored with the help of parameters. A location can have more than one parameter, which can be inspected on more than one inspection point. Inspection points are defined for a location – parameter combination. The parameter for which the inspection point is attached must be of type “Range“ or “Attribute”.
The system displays the inspection points that are already attached to the parameter. You can attach new inspection points to the parameter by specifying the inspection point, the value of the parameter on the inspection as on a specified date and time and any additional information about attaching the inspection point to the parameter.
You can also delete an inspection point from the parameter. The system allows you to delete an inspection point only if parameter values are not already recorded on the inspection point.
