Set Default Work Group

In this page, you can set one of the work groups that are already attached to the planning group as the default work group. Tell me more

Select the “Set Default Work Group” link from the bottom of the “Edit Planning Group” page.

The “Set Default Work Group” page appears.

The system displays the following fields:

Planning Group	The planning group for which a default work group must be set.
	The description of the planning group is retrieved alongside.
	Zoom facility available
Status	The status of the planning group.

The system retrieves in the “Attached Work Groups” multiline, the work groups that are already attached to the planning group:

Work Group	The work group responsible for executing the work assigned by the planning group.
Desc.	The description of the work group.
Status	The status of the work group.

Enter the following field in the multiline to set the work group as default:

Set Default

Use the drop-down list box to set the work group as the default work group for the planning group. The system provides the options “Yes” and “No”. You can set only one work group as the default work group.

Click the “Update” pushbutton to update the default work group for the planning group.

The system displays the following:

Created By	The login ID of the user who has set the default work group.
Created Date	The date and time on which the work group was set as the default.
Last Modified By	The login ID of the user who last modified the default work group.
Last Modified Date	The date and time on which the default work group was last modified.

You can set a work group as the default work group for the planning group.

Set the “Set Default ?” field to “Yes” to set the work group as the default.
Set the “Set Default ?” field to “No” not to set the work group as the default.

Changing the default planning group – An overview

A work group comprises employees, tools and other resources for carrying out the maintenance activity. A planning group assigns the maintenance activity to be performed by the work group and the work group executes the work order assigned to them.

In this page, you can set one of the work groups that are already attached to the planning group as the default work group. This work group will be responsible for carrying out all the work on equipment or location that belongs to the planning group.
