Basics of using a Ramco iEnterprise Series 4.0 web page

Using On Line Help

 

The “Maintain Codes” page appears.

      - Clicking this icon available near certain fields takes you to the help page of the respective field.

To maintain code

Code Type                 

Use the drop-down list box to specify the code type. The combo is loaded with the values “Criticality”, “Reason for Revision”, “Classification” etc. The system displays blank at the launch of the page.

Either exiting information can be viewed and modified or new code information can be defined for each code type.

 

From OU                    

Use the drop-down list box to retrieve the codes from the operational unit. The combo is loaded with OUs mapped to the BU of logged on user.

 

Sequence No.           

The unique identification number of the sequence.

Code

The unique number identifying the code.

Description

The description of the code type.

Default

Use the drop-down list box to specify whether the code is to be defaulted. The combo is loaded with the values as “No” and “Yes”.

Status

Use the drop-down list box to specify the status. The combo is loaded with the values as “Active” or “Inactive”. The system displays “Active” by default on the launch of the page.

Note: The Parent Code is visible only when the “Code Type” is “WO Sub Group and “Sub-Classification”.

Parent Code

Use the drop-down to specify the parent code. The combo is loaded with the active WO group if the code type selected is WO group and it is loaded with active classification if the code type selected is sub-classification.

Note: The Item Code, Variant Code and AC Usage is visible only when the “Code Type” is “Fuel Used”.

Item Code

The code identifying the item code to be mapped to fuel code.

Variant Code

The code identifying the variant of item code to be mapped  to fuel code.

AC Usage

The AC usage of the code details is specified.

Created By

The login ID of the user who created the codes.

Created Date

The date and time at which the codes was created.

Modified By

The login ID of the user who modified the code details.

Modified Date

The date and time at which the code details was last modified.
