Using On Line Help

In this page, you can retrieve the details of planning groups that are already defined. You can carry out a search based on the planning group, its description, type, location code and work group. The details of planning groups that match the specified filter criteria are displayed in the multiline.

The “Help On Planning Group” page appears

Planning Group

The planning group for which the details are to be viewed (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the planning group in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all the planning groups that are similar to the value entered here.

Desc.

Enter the full or part of the description of the planning group to be viewed (Alphanumeric, 150). The system retrieves all planning groups with similar descriptions.

Type

Use the drop-down list box to specify the type of the planning group to be viewed. The system retrieves all the planning groups that are in the type specified here. Leave this field blank if you wish to retrieve details of planning groups irrespective of their type. The system leaves the field blank by default.

Location Code

The location to which the planning group belongs (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the location in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all planning groups belonging to similar locations.

Work Group

The work group that belongs to the planning group (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the work group in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all planning groups to which similar work groups belong.

Note: If all the fields are left blank, the system retrieves all the planning groups in the multiline.

The system displays the following fields in the multiline based on the filter criteria entered:

Planning Group

The planning group retrieved by the system.

Desc.

The textual description of the planning group.

Type

The user defined type of the planning group.

Status

The status of the planning group, which could be “Active” or “Inactive”.
