Viewing parameters attached to the location

This page allows you to view the parameters that are attached to the location. Tell me more

Select the “View Location Parameters” link at the bottom of the “Select Location” page.

The “View Location Parameters” page appears.

If you wish to view the parameters attached to a location other than the location entered in the previous page, enter the following field:

Location	The location for which parameters must be viewed (Alphanumeric, 30).
	Press <Enter>. The system retrieves the details of the parameters attached to the location. The description of the location is also displayed alongside.
	Zoom facility available

The system displays the following fields in the “Already Attached Parameters” multiline:

Parameter	The parameter that is specified for the location.
Type	The type of the parameter, which can be “Technical”, “Attribute”, “Consumption” or “Range”.
UOM	The unit of measurement of the consumption or range parameter.
Source	The source from which the value of the parameter must be updated. The system displays any one of the following:
	Manual – indicates that the parameter value should be updated manually.
	RTI – indicates that the parameter must be updated from the real time integration system of the plant.
	Formula – indicates that the parameter must be updated by a formula. This option is applicable only for a range or a consumption parameter.
Hourly Usage	The estimated hourly consumption of the parameter.
Present Value	The current value of the parameter.
Date	The date on which the present value of the parameter was recorded.
Time	The time at which the present value of the parameter was recorded.
Seq. No.	The sequence in which the parameters are displayed in the multiline.
Remarks	Any additional information regarding the location parameter.
Formula	The formula by which the parameter value must be updated. This applies only for a formula based parameter.
Formula Content	The content of the formula.

The system displays the following fields in the "Record Statistics" group box:

Created By	The login ID of the user who has created the location.
Created Date	The date and time at which the location was created.
Last Mod. By	The login ID of the user who has last modified the location.
Last Mod. Date	The date and time at which the location was last modified.

To proceed, carry out the following

Select the “View Inspection Points” link at the bottom of the page to view the inspection points that are attached to the location parameters.
Select the “Attribute Parameter Values” link at the bottom of the page to view the attribute parameter values of the location parameters.

Viewing parameters attached to the location – An overview

This page allows you to view the parameters that are attached to the location selected in the main page. The system also allows you to directly enter a location code other than the location selected in the main page, and view its parameters.

Details of the parameters such as the type, source from which the value of the parameter is updated, the estimated hourly usage of the parameter, the formula for a consumption parameter and the unit of measurement of the range and consumption parameters are displayed. You can also view the present value of the parameter, the date and time at which the present value was recorded, the sequence in which the parameters appear in the multiline and any other additional information entered for the parameter.
