Planning Folders – An overview

Introduction

The “Planning Folders” business component facilitates the user to view the various maintenance orders and requests that are in different statuses and some of the critical plant maintenance parameters that are to be monitored for an equipment or location or for a group of equipment or locations. The planning folder provides summary information about the status of the current maintenance activities in a plant along with the details of each activity. The maintenance planner can view the maintenance activities, take appropriate actions and review the progress of the same in this business component. It furnishes information regarding work orders, requests, log, resources and pending jobs. Information can be viewed at the plant level, or for any equipment location in the plant.
