This page allows you to create preventive maintenance schedules based on preventive maintenance templates. Tell me more.
Select the “Create Associated PMs” in the “Create Associated PM” page. Alternatively, select the hyperlinked preventive maintenance template number in the multiline of the same page.
The “Create Associated PM” page appears.
Enter the following field if you wish to create preventive maintenance schedules based on a preventive maintenance template other than the template entered in the previous page:

The preventive maintenance template for which you wish to create associated preventive maintenance schedules (Alphanumeric, 18). |

Press <Enter>. The system retrieves the description of the preventive maintenance template alongside. |

The system retrieves the details of the equipment for which the preventive maintenance is created in the “Associated Equipment PM(S)” multiline. You can also enter any equipment for which preventive maintenance schedule must be raised based on the template: |

The equipment for which preventive maintenance schedules must be raised based on the template (Alphanumeric, 30). Ensure that the equipment is already defined in the “Create Equipment” activity of the “Equipment Induction” business component and is in the “Active” status. |

The system displays the following field in the multiline:

The description of the equipment. If you enter equipment in the multiline, the system displays this field only after you click the “Create Associated PM(s)” pushbutton. |

The number of the preventive maintenance schedule that is automatically generated by the system. |
Enter the following field in the multiline:

The description of the preventive maintenance schedule (Alphanumeric, 150). |
Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to select the equipment for which you do not wish to create preventive maintenance schedules from the template.
Click the Delete icon to delete the selected equipment in the multiline.
The system retrieves in the “Associated Location PM” multiline, the locations for which the preventive maintenance template is created. You can enter more locations by entering the following fields in the multiline:

Location |
The location for which the preventive maintenance template is created (Alphanumeric, 30). Ensure that the location is already created in the “Create Location” activity of the “Maintenance Organization” business component and is in the “Active” status. |

Note: The system creates preventive maintenance schedules based on the format defined in the preventive maintenance template. The system also generates an automatic number for the preventive maintenance schedules and displays it in the “PM” field in the multiline.

This page allows you to create preventive maintenance schedules based on preventive maintenance templates. You can create preventive maintenance schedules for the template that is selected from the previous page. You can also enter a preventive maintenance template in this page and create schedules based on it. The system retrieves all the equipment and locations for which preventive maintenance templates are raised. You can specify more equipment and locations for which preventive maintenance schedules must be raised based on the template.
The system creates schedules with all the details that have been defined in the template. The resource requirements that are specified in the template are also inherited by the schedules that are created from the template.

You can create preventive maintenance schedules based on the template that is already defined.
Enter the equipment for which preventive maintenance schedules must be created in the “Equipment” field in the “Associated Eqp. PM” multiline.
Enter the locations for which preventive maintenance schedules must be created in the “Location” field in the “Associated Location PM” multiline.
Click the “Create Associated PM (s)” pushbutton.
