This page allows you to specify the other preventive maintenance schedules that must be carried out. Tell me more.

The “Dependent PM” page appears.

The system displays the following fields:

PM

The preventive maintenance schedule number for which dependent preventive maintenance schedules must be defined.

 

The description of the schedule is displayed alongside.

 

Zoom facility available

PM On

The maintainable object on which preventive maintenance must be carried out. The system displays “Equipment” or “Location”.

Code

The equipment or location on which preventive maintenance must be carried out.

 

The description of the equipment or location is displayed alongside.

PM

The preventive maintenance schedule that must be performed after the execution of the preventive maintenance schedule displayed in the “PM” field in the header on the lapse of the period specified in the “Due After” field in the multiline (Alphanumeric, 18). Ensure the following:

 
  • The preventive maintenance schedule is already defined in the “Create PM Schedule” activity and is in the “Active” status.

 
  • You do not enter the preventive maintenance schedule similar to the primary preventive maintenance schedule.

 

This field cannot be modified.

The system displays the following fields in the multiline:

Desc.

The description of the preventive maintenance schedule.

PM On

The maintainable object on which the preventive maintenance is carried out. The system displays “Equipment” or “Location”.

Code

The equipment or location on which preventive maintenance is carried out.

Due After

Enter the time interval after the execution of the primary preventive maintenance, this dependent preventive maintenance must be executed (Decimal). Data entry in this field is mandatory if you have specified a preventive maintenance schedule in the “PM” field in the multiline. Ensure that the time interval is not negative.

Interval Unit

Use the drop-down list box to specify the unit of the interval specified in the “Due After” field. The system provides the options: “Days”, “Weeks”, “Months” and “Years”. Do not leave this field blank, if you have specified a dependent preventive maintenance in the multiline.

Note: Ensure that the “PM – Due After – Interval Unit” combination is unique to the multiline.

Remarks

Any additional information about specifying the dependent preventive maintenance schedule (Alphanumeric, 255).

PM

The preventive maintenance schedule that must be performed after the execution of the preventive maintenance schedule displayed in the “PM” field in the header on the lapse of the parameter value specified in the “Due After” field in the multiline (Alphanumeric, 18). Ensure the following:

 
  • The preventive maintenance schedule is already defined in the “Create PM Schedule” activity and is in the “Active” status.

 
  • You do not enter the preventive maintenance schedule similar to the primary preventive maintenance schedule.

 

This field cannot be modified.

Desc.

The description of the preventive maintenance schedule.

PM On

The maintainable object on which the preventive maintenance is carried out. The system displays “Equipment” or “Location”.

Code

The equipment or location on which preventive maintenance is carried out.

Parameter

The parameter value based on which the dependent preventive maintenance is carried out (Alphanumeric, 30). Data entry in this field is mandatory if you have specified a dependent parameter in the “PM” field in the multiline. Ensure the following:

 
  • The parameter is already defined as a consumption parameter in the “Create Parameter” activity of the “Equipment Induction” business component and is in the “Active” status.

 
  • If the “PM On” field is ”Equipment” ensure that the parameter is already attached to the equipment displayed in the “Code” field in the “Create Equipment” activity of the “Equipment Induction” business component.

 
  • If the “PM On” field is “Location”, ensure that the parameter is already attached to the location displayed in the “Code” field in the “Create Location” activity of the “Maintenance Organization” business component.

Due After

Enter the incremental value of the parameter after the execution of the primary preventive maintenance, this preventive maintenance must be performed (Decimal).

 

Data entry in this field is mandatory if you have specified a dependent preventive maintenance in the “PM” field in the “Usage Based Dependent PM(S)” multiline.

 

Ensure that the value entered in this field is not negative.

 

If you leave this field blank, the system considers the incremental parameter value as “0”.

Note: Ensure that the “PM – Parameter – Due After” combination is unique to the multiline.

The system displays the following field in the multiline:

Interval Unit

The unit of measurement of the parameter.

Remarks

Any additional information about defining the usage-based dependent preventive maintenance for the primary preventive maintenance (Alphanumeric, 255).

Note: The system saves the details of the dependent preventive maintenance schedules and refreshes the “Description”, “PM On” and “Code” fields in both the multilines and the “Interval Unit” in the “Usage Based Dependent PM” multiline.

The system displays the following fields in the “Record Statistics” group box:

Created By

The login ID of the user who created the preventive maintenance schedule.

Created Date

The date and time at which the preventive maintenance schedule was created.

Last Modified By

The login ID of the user who last modified the preventive maintenance schedule.

Last Modified Date
