This page allows you to specify the other equipment or location on which preventive maintenance must be carried out when this preventive maintenance is performed. Tell me more.

The “Equipment / Location Group” page appears.

The system displays the following fields:

PM

The number of the preventive maintenance schedule for which the other equipment/location on which it must carried out must be defined.

 

The description of the schedule is displayed alongside.

 

Zoom facility available

PM On

The maintainable object on which preventive maintenance must be carried out. The system displays “Equipment” or “Location”.

Code

The equipment or location on which preventive maintenance must be carried out.

 

The description of the equipment or location is displayed alongside.

Eqp. Group

The equipment group of the equipment on which the preventive maintenance must be carried out (Alphanumeric, 30). Ensure that the equipment group is already defined as a user-defined group in the “Create User Defined Group” activity of the “Equipment Induction” business component and is in the “Active” status.

Location Group

The location group of the locations on which the preventive maintenance must be carried out (Alphanumeric, 30). Ensure that the location group is already defined as a user-defined group in the “Create User Defined Group” activity of the “Maintenance Organization” business component and is in the  “Active” status.

Generate Multiple WO

Use the drop-down list box to specify whether you wish to generate more than one work order for the equipment or location on which the preventive maintenance must be carried out. The system provides the options: “Yes” or “No”. The system displays “No”, by default.

WO On

Use the drop-down list box to specify the maintainable object on which the preventive maintenance must be carried out. The system provides the options: “Equipment” and “Location”. The system leaves the field blank, by default.

Code

The equipment or location on which the preventive maintenance must be carried out (Alphanumeric, 30). Data entry in this field is mandatory if you have specified either “Equipment” or “Location” in the “WO On” field.

 
  • If you have specified “Equipment” in the “WO On” field, ensure that the code entered in this field is already defined as equipment in the “Create Equipment” activity of the “Equipment Induction” business component and is in the “Active” status.

 
  • If you have specified “Location” in the “WO On” field, ensure that the code entered in this field is already defined as a location in the “Create Location” activity of the “Maintenance Organization” business component and is in the “Active” status.

Task/Proc.

Use the drop-down list box to specify whether a task or standard procedure must be carried out as a part of the preventive maintenance. The system provides the options: “Task” and “SP”.

Code

The task or the standard procedure that must be carried out as a part of the preventive maintenance.

 
  • If you have specified “Task” in the “Task/Proc.” field, ensure that the task is already defined in the “Create Task” activity of the “Task” business component and is in the “Active” status.

 
  • If you have specified “SP” in the “Task/Proc” field, ensure that the procedure has already been defined in the “Create Procedure” activity of the “Task” business component and is in the “Active” status.

Remarks

Any additional information about specifying the equipment or location on which preventive maintenance must be carried out (Alphanumeric, 255).

Note: The system saves the details of the other equipment or location on which preventive maintenance must be carried out.

The system displays the following fields in the “Record Statistics” group box:

Created By

The login ID of the user who created the preventive maintenance schedule.

Created Date

The date and time at which the preventive maintenance schedule was created.

Last Modified By

The login ID of the user who last modified the preventive maintenance schedule.

Last Modified Date

Edit PM Schedule - A summary of the activity

This page allows you to specify the other equipment or location on which preventive maintenance must be carried out when this preventive maintenance is performed. You can specify the other equipment or location by specifying the equipment and the location group. Preventive maintenance will be carried out on the equipment and the locations belonging to the specified equipment and location groups respectively. You can also individually specify the equipment or location on which preventive maintenance must be carried out.
