This page allows you to specify other resources for carrying out the preventive maintenance work order. You can enter the other resource, the number of resources that are required, the number of hours for which the resource is required, the usage type of the resource and any other additional information about the resource being specified for the preventive maintenance schedule.
Select the “Other Resources Requirement” link from the bottom of the “Edit Maintenance Schedule” page.
The “Other Resources Requirement” page appears.
The system displays the following fields:

The preventive maintenance schedule number for which other resource requirements must be defined. |

The description of the schedule is displayed alongside. |

PM On |
The maintainable object on which preventive maintenance must be carried out. The system displays “Equipment” or “Location”. |

The equipment or location on which preventive maintenance must be carried out. |

The description of the equipment or location is displayed alongside. |

The system displays the details of the resources, which are already assigned for carrying out the preventive maintenance, in the “Other Resources” multiline. |
Enter the following fields in the multiline, if you wish to specify resources for preventive maintenance:

Other Res. Code |
The resource required for carrying out the preventive maintenance (Alphanumeric, 30). Ensure that the resource is already defined in the “Define Other Resource” activity of the “Work Group” business component. This field cannot be modified. |

Press <Enter>. The system retrieves the “Description” and “Rate” fields in the multiline. |

Desc. |
The textual description of the resource. The system displays this field only when you click the “Edit” pushbutton. |
Enter the following fields in the multiline:

Quantity (Nos.) |
The number of resources required for the completion of the task (Decimal). Data entry in this field is mandatory if you have entered a resource in the “Resource” field. Ensure that the quantity is positive. |

Duration (Hrs) |
The total number of hours for which the resource is required (Decimal). Data entry in this field is mandatory if you have entered a resource in the “Resource” field. Ensure that the duration is positive. |
The system displays the following field:

Rate |
The unit rate per hour of the resource. The system displays this field only when you click the “Edit” pushbutton. |

Estimated Cost |
The estimated cost of utilizing the skill for carrying out preventive maintenance. The system displays this field only when you click the “Edit” pushbutton. |
Enter the following field in the multiline:

Remarks |
Any additional information about specifying the resource for carrying out the preventive maintenance (Alphanumeric, 255). |
Check the box in the ”Select” column of the multiline, to select the resources that you wish to delete from the preventive maintenance schedule.
Click the Delete icon in the tool bar above the multiline to delete the selected resources from the preventive maintenance schedule.
Click the “Edit” pushbutton to update the resource details for the preventive maintenance schedule.
Note: The system updates the modified resource details and adds new resources. It also fills in the “Description”, “Rate” and “Estimated Cost” fields in the multiline.
The system displays the following fields in the “Record Statistics” group box:

Created By |
The login ID of the user who created the preventive maintenance schedule. |

Created Date |
The date and time at which the preventive maintenance schedule was created. |
|
Last Modified By |
The login ID of the user who last modified the preventive maintenance schedule. |

Last Modified Date |
The date and time at which the preventive maintenance was last modified. |

You can specify the other resources that are required for carrying out the preventive maintenance.
Enter the other resource that is required for carrying out preventive maintenance in the “Other Resource Code” in the multiline.
Enter the number of resources required in the “Quantity (Nos.)” field.
Specify the number of hours for which the resource is required in the “Duration (Hrs)” field.
Click the “Edit” pushbutton.
