Using Online Help

This page allows you to specify other resources for carrying out the preventive maintenance work order. You can enter the other resource, the number of resources that are required, the number of hours for which the resource is required, the usage type of the resource and any other additional information about the resource being specified for the preventive maintenance schedule.

The “Other Resources Requirement” page appears.

The system displays the following fields:

PM

The preventive maintenance schedule number for which other resource requirements must be defined.

 

The description of the schedule is displayed alongside.

 

Zoom facility available

PM On

The maintainable object on which preventive maintenance must be carried out. The system displays “Equipment” or “Location”.

Code

The equipment or location on which preventive maintenance must be carried out.

 

The description of the equipment or location is displayed alongside.

 

Zoom facility available

 

The system displays the details of the resources, which are already assigned for carrying out the preventive maintenance, in the “Other Resources” multiline.

Other Res. Code

The resource required for carrying out the preventive maintenance (Alphanumeric, 30). Ensure that the resource is already defined in the “Define Other Resource” activity of the “Work Group” business component. This field cannot be modified.

Press <Enter>. The system retrieves the “Description” and “Rate” fields in the multiline.

The system displays the following field:

Desc.

The textual description of the resource. The system displays this field only when you click the “Edit” pushbutton.

Quantity (Nos.)

The number of resources required for the completion of the task (Decimal). Data entry in this field is mandatory if you have entered a resource in the “Resource” field. Ensure that the quantity is positive.

Duration (Hrs)

The total number of hours for which the resource is required (Decimal). Data entry in this field is mandatory if you have entered a resource in the “Resource” field. Ensure that the duration is positive.

The system displays the following field:

Rate

The unit rate per hour of the resource. The system displays this field only when you click the “Edit” pushbutton.

Estimated Cost

The estimated cost of utilizing the skill for carrying out preventive maintenance. The system displays this field only when you click the “Edit” pushbutton.

Remarks

Any additional information about specifying the resource for carrying out the preventive maintenance (Alphanumeric, 255).

Note: The system updates the modified resource details and adds new resources. It also fills in the “Description”, “Rate” and “Estimated Cost” fields in the multiline.

The system displays the following fields in the “Record Statistics” group box:

Created By

The login ID of the user who created the preventive maintenance schedule.

Created Date

The date and time at which the preventive maintenance schedule was created.

Last Modified By

The login ID of the user who last modified the preventive maintenance schedule.

Last Modified Date
