This page allows you to specify skills for carrying out the work order that is performed for preventive maintenance. You can enter the skill, the number of persons who possess the skill who are required for the work order, the attendance type to which the skill belongs, the number of hours for which the skill is required and any additional information about specifying the skill for the work order.
Select the “Skills Requirement” link from the bottom of the “Edit PM Schedule” page.
The “Skill Requirement” page appears.
The system displays the following fields:

The preventive maintenance schedule number for which skill requirements must be defined. |

The description of the schedule is displayed alongside. |

PM On |
The maintainable object on which preventive maintenance must be carried out. The system displays “Equipment” or “Location”. |

The equipment or location on which preventive maintenance must be carried out. |

The description of the equipment or location is displayed alongside. |

The system displays the details of the skills that are already specified for carrying out the preventive maintenance, in the “Skills” multiline.
Enter the following fields in the multiline, if you wish to specify skills for carrying out preventive maintenance:

Skill |
The skill required for carrying out preventive maintenance (Alphanumeric, 30). Ensure that the skill code is already defined in the "Competency" business component of Ramco Human Resources Management Solution. This field cannot be modified. |

The system displays the following field:

Desc. |
The textual description of the skill. The system displays this field when you click the “Edit” pushbutton. |
Enter the following fields in the multiline:

Quantity (Nos.) |
The number of people who possess the skill required (Decimal). Data entry in this field is mandatory if you have specified a skill in the “Skill” field. Ensure that the quantity is positive. |

Duration (Hrs.) |
The number of hours for which the skill is required (Decimal). Data entry in this field is mandatory if you have specified a skill in the “Skill” field. Ensure that the duration is not negative. |
The system displays the following fields:

Rate |
The unit rate per hour of the skill. The system displays this field when you click the “Edit” pushbutton. |

Estimated Cost |
The cost of utilizing the skill for carrying out the preventive maintenance. |
Enter the following field in the multiline:

Remarks |
Any additional information about specifying the skill for carrying out the preventive maintenance (Alphanumeric, 255). |
Click the box in the “Select” column of the multiline, to select the skills for deletion from the skill requirements for preventive maintenance.
Click the “Edit” pushbutton to update the details of the skill.
Note: The system updates the modified skill details, adds the new skills and deletes skills that have been marked for deletion. It also fills in the “Description”, “Rate” and the “Estimated Cost” fields in the multiline.
The system displays the following fields in the “Record Statistics” group box:

The login ID of the user who created the preventive maintenance schedule. |

Created Date |
The date and time at which the preventive maintenance schedule was created. |

Last Modified By |
The login ID of the user who last modified the preventive maintenance schedule. |

Last Modified Date |
The date and time at which the preventive maintenance was last modified. |

You can specify the skills that are required to carry out preventive maintenance.
Enter the skill that is required in the “Skill” field in the multiline.
Enter the number of people required with the specific skill, in the “Quantity (Nos.)” field.
Enter the number of hours for which the skill is required in the “Duration (Hrs)” field.
Click the “Edit” pushbutton.
