Select the “Spare Parts Requirement” link from the bottom of the “Edit PM Schedule” page.
The “Spare Parts Requirement” page appears.
The system displays the following fields:

Item |
The standard spare part to be specified for the task (Alphanumeric, 32). Ensure that the item has already been defined in the “Item Administration” business component of Ramco Corporate Solutions. . This field cannot be modified. Press <Enter> |
Variant |
The variant of the standard spare part (Alphanumeric, 8). Press <Enter> |
The system displays the following field in the multiline
Desc. |
The textual description of the spare part. While allocating spare parts, this field is filled in by the system, when you click the “Edit” pushbutton. |
Enter the following fields in the multiline:
UOM |
The unit of measurement of the spare part (Alphanumeric, 10). Data entry in this field is mandatory, if an item is specified in the “Item” field. Press <Enter> |
Qty. |
The number of spares required for the completion of the task (Decimal). Data entry in this field is mandatory, if an item is specified in the “Item” field. Ensure that the quantity is positive. |
The system displays the following field:
Standard Cost |
The cost of utilizing the spare part per hour. |
Enter the following fields:
Warehouse |
The warehouse from which the spare part is procured (Alphanumeric, 10). Ensure that the warehouse is already defined in the “Storage Administration” business component of Ramco Corporate Solutions. . The warehouse must be in the “Active” status. If you leave this field blank, the system considers the default warehouse that is defined for the preventive maintenance schedule in the “Edit PM Schedule” page. Press <Enter> |
Item Status |
The status of the item that is available in the warehouse (Alphanumeric, 25). Ensure that the status is already defined for the warehouse in the “Item Administration” business component of Ramco Corporate Solutions. If you leave this field blank, the system considers the item status that is set in the “Options Settings” activity. Press <Enter> |
The system displays the following field:
Estimated Cost |
The estimated unit cost of the spare part. While specifying standard spare parts, this field is filled in by the system, when you the “Edit” pushbutton. |
Enter the following field in the multiline:
Remarks |
Any additional information about specifying the spare part for carrying out the preventive maintenance (Alphanumeric, 255). |
Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to select the item from being specified for the preventive maintenance schedule.
Click the Delete icon in the tool bar above the multiline, to delete the selected rows in the multiline.
Click the “Edit” pushbutton to save the details of the spare parts that are required for carrying out the preventive maintenance.
The system displays the following fields in the “Record Statistics” group box:

The date and time at which the preventive maintenance schedule is created. |

The login ID of the user who last modified the preventive maintenance schedule. |

Enter the item and the variant combination of the item that is required for preventive maintenance in the “Item” and “Variant” fields in the multiline.
Enter the unit of measurement of the spare part in the “UOM” field.
Enter the number of spare parts required in the “Quantity” field.
Click the “Edit” pushbutton.
