This page allows you to specify skills for the preventive maintenance template for carrying out preventive maintenance based on schedules that are created from the template. You can enter the skill, the number of persons who possess the skill who are required for the work order, the attendance type to which the skill belongs, the number of hours for which the skill is required and any additional information about specifying the skill for the work order.
Select the "Skills Requirement" link from the bottom of the "Edit PM Template" page.
The "Skill Requirement" page appears.
The system displays the following fields:

The description of the template is displayed alongside. |

The system displays the details of the skills that are already specified for carrying out the preventive maintenance, in the Skills multiline. |
Enter the following fields in the multiline, if you wish to specify skills for carrying out preventive maintenance:

Skill |
The skill required for carrying out preventive maintenance (Alphanumeric, 30). Ensure that the skill code is already defined in the "Competency" business component of Ramco Human Resources Management Solutions. This field cannot be modified. |

Press <Enter>. The system retrieves the Description and Rate fields in the multiline. |
The system displays the following field:

Desc. |
The textual description of the skill. The system displays this field when you click the Edit pushbutton. |
Enter the following fields in the multiline:

Quantity (Nos.) |
The number of people who possess the skill required (Decimal). Data entry in this field is mandatory if you have specified a skill in the Skill field. Ensure that the quantity is positive. |

Duration (Hrs.) |
The number of hours for which the skill is required (Decimal). Data entry in this field is mandatory if you have specified a skill in the Skill field. Ensure that the duration is not negative. |
The system displays the following field:

Rate |
The unit rate per hour of the skill. The system displays this field when you click the Edit pushbutton. |

Estimated Cost |
The cost of utilizing the skill for carrying out the preventive maintenance. |
Enter the following field in the multiline:

Remarks |
Any additional information about specifying the skill for carrying out the preventive maintenance (Alphanumeric, 255). |
Click the box in the "Select" column of the multiline, to select the skills for deletion from the skill requirements for preventive maintenance.
Click the Delete icon in the tool bar above the multiline to delete the selected skills from the multiline.
Click the "Edit" pushbutton to update the details of the skill.
Note: The system updates the modified skill details, adds the new skills and deletes skills that have been marked for deletion. It also fills in the Description, Rate and the Estimated Cost fields in the multiline.
The system displays the following fields in the Record Statistics group box:

The login ID of the user who defined the template. |

The date and time at which the template was defined. |

The login ID of the user who last modified the template. |

The date and time at which the template was last modified. |

Specify the skill requirements for preventive maintenance
You can specify the skills that are required to carry out preventive maintenance.
Enter the skill that is required in the Skill field in the multiline.
Enter the number of people required with the specific skill, in the Quantity (Nos.) field.
Enter the number of hours for which the skill is required in the Duration (Hrs) field.
Click the Edit pushbutton.
