This page allows you to generate inspection schedules based on a template. Tell me more.

Select the “Add Associated Schedules” in the “Select Inspection Schedule Template” page. Alternatively, select the hyperlinked inspection schedule in the multiline of the same page.

The “Generate Inspection Schedules From Template” page appears.

Enter the following field if you wish to generate inspection schedules based on an inspection template other than the template entered in the previous page:

IS Template	The inspection template for which you wish to generate associated inspection schedules (Alphanumeric, 18).
	The system retrieves the description of the inspection template alongside when you press the <Enter> key.
	Zoom facility available
	Press <Enter>.

Enter the following fields in the “Associated Sch.” multiline:

Inspection On	Use the drop-down list box to specify whether you wish to create the inspection schedule on equipment or location. The system provides the options: “Equipment” and “Location”. The system leaves the field blank, by default.
Code	The identifier of the equipment or location for which inspection schedule is generated (Alphanumeric, 30) Mandatory. Ensure the following:
	If you have selected “Equipment” in the “Inspection On” field, ensure that the code entered here is defined as equipment in the “Create Equipment” activity of the “Equipment Induction” business component and is in the “Active” status. Also ensure that the equipment entered here is not defined as a placeholder.
	If you have selected “Location” in the “Inspection On” field, ensure that the code entered here is defined as a location in the “Create Location” activity of the “Maintenance Organization” business component and is in the “Active” status.
	Press <Enter>. The system retrieves the “Description” field in the multiline. Help facility available.

The system displays the following fields in the multiline:

Desc.	The description of the equipment or location.
IS	The inspection schedule number automatically generated by the system.

Enter the following field:

Desc.

The description of the inspection schedule (Alphanumeric, 150).

Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to select the equipment or location for which you do not wish to create inspection schedules from the template.
Click the Delete icon to delete the selected equipment or location in the multiline.
Click the “Generate” pushbutton in the multiline.

Note: The system creates inspection schedules based on the format defined in the inspection schedule template. The system also generates an automatic number for the inspection schedules and displays it in the “Inspection Schedule” field in the multiline.

Generating inspection schedules from the template – An overview

This page allows you to generate inspection schedules based on a template. You can generate inspection schedules for an inspection schedule template selected from the previous page. You can also directly enter a template from this page and generate inspection schedules based on it. You can specify the equipment and location for which schedules must be generated. The system generates inspection schedules for every equipment and location based on the details specified in the inspection schedule template.
