Viewing the results of the forecast

View Forecast Results

This page allows you to view the details of the forecast that has been generated in the “Forecast – Inspection Jobs” activity. Tell me more.

Select the “View Forecast Results” link from the “Forecast – Inspection Jobs” page.

The “View Forecast Results” page appears.

The system displays the following fields:

Forecast	The forecast number for which the results are displayed.
Date	The date on which the forecast was done.
Desc.	The description of the forecast.
	Zoom facility available
Status	The status of the forecast. The system displays one of the following: Pending – indicates that the forecasting process is pending to be executed in a queue. In Progress – indicates that the forecasting process is in progress Cancelled – indicates that the forecasting process is cancelled. This status will be displayed when you click the “Abort” pushbutton. Completed – indicates that the forecasting process is completed

The system displays the following fields in the “Forecast Criteria” group box:

IS	The inspection schedule for which due dates are forecasted.
Desc.	The description of the inspection schedule.
Work Group	The work group that is responsible for carrying out the inspection order created from the schedule.
Inspection On	The maintainable object on which the inspection schedule is raised. The system displays either “Equipment” or “Location”.
Code	The equipment or location for which inspection schedule has been raised.
Type	The type of the inspection schedule.
Category	The category of the inspection schedule.
Priority	The priority or the importance of the inspection schedule.
Location	The location of the equipment on which inspection must be done.

The system displays the following in the “Due Date” field:

From	The date starting from which the results are forecasted.
To	The date till which the results are forecasted.
Progress	The percentage of completion of the forecast process.

Click the “Abort” pushbutton if you wish to abort the generation of the forecast process.

Note: You can abort a process only if it is in the "Pending" or "In Progress" status. The system updates the “Status” field as “Cancelled”.

Click the “Check Progress” pushbutton to check the progress made in the forecast process.

Note: The system refreshes the forecast and displays the refreshed details in the multiline.

The system displays the following fields in the “Forecast Results” multiline:

Due Date	The date on which the inspection is due.
IS	The inspection schedule that is due to be performed.
Desc.	The description of the inspection schedule.
Inspection On	The maintainable object on which the inspection must be performed. The system displays “Equipment” or “Location”.
Code	The equipment or location on which inspection is due.
Work Group	The work group that is responsible for carrying out the inspection.
Type	The type of the inspection schedule.
Category	The category of the inspection schedule.
Priority	The priority of the inspection schedule.

Viewing the results of the forecast – An overview

This page allows you to view the details of the forecast that has been generated in the “Forecast – Inspection Jobs” page. The system displays the following details:

The forecast number for which the forecast is to be viewed
The criteria for which the forecast has been generated
The status of the forecast process, which can be “Pending”, “In Progress”, “Canceled” or “Completed”.
The progress of the forecast process,which is displayed as a percentage.
The due dates for which inspection is due on the equipment or location based on the forecast schedule

You can also abort an ongoing process in this page. You can however abort a process only when it is in the “Pending” or “InProgress” status.

You can abort or interrupt an ongoing forecast process in this page.

Click the “Abort” pushbutton to abort or cancel a forecast process.

The system kills the forecast process and leaves the “Forecast” field blank.

Check the progress of the forecast

You can check the progress made for an ongoing forecast process.

Click the “Check Progress” pushbutton to check the progress made on the forecast process.
