This page allows you to define fixed schedules for carrying out inspection on equipment/location.  Tell me more.

The “Fixed Schedule” page appears.

The system displays the following fields:

IS

The inspection schedule number for which fixed schedules must be defined.

 

The description of the schedule is displayed alongside.

 

Zoom facility available

Inspection On

The maintainable object on which inspection must be carried out. The system displays “Equipment” or “Location”.

Code

The equipment or location on which inspection must be carried out.

 

The description of the equipment or location is displayed alongside.

 

Zoom facility available

Date

The date on which the inspection must be performed (Date Format). Ensure that the date is the current date or a future date. Also ensure that the date is unique to the multiline.

Remarks

Any additional information about the schedule (Alphanumeric, 255).

Parameter

The parameter based on which the inspection must be performed on the equipment or location (Alphanumeric, 30). Ensure that the parameter is already defined as a consumption parameter in the “Create Parameter” activity of the “Equipment Induction” business component and is in the “Active” status.

 
  • If the “Inspection On” field is “Equipment”, ensure that the parameter is attached to the equipment in the “Create Parameter” activity of the “Equipment Induction” business component.

 
  • If the “Inspection On” field is “Location”, ensure that the parameter is attached to the location in the “Create Location” activity of the “Maintenance Organization” business component.

The system retrieves the “UOM” field in the multiline.

The system displays the following field in the multiline:

UOM

The unit of measurement of the parameter.

Value

The value of the parameter at which the inspection must be carried out on the equipment or location (Decimal). Ensure that the value is a positive number. Also ensure that the value is greater than the present value of the parameter as on the current date.

Note: Ensure that the parameter – value combination is unique to the multiline.

Latest By Date

The latest date by which the inspection must be performed (Date Format). Ensure that date is not a past date.

Remarks

Any additional information about the parameter (Alphanumeric, 255).

Note: The system saves the details of the schedules and displays the “UOM” field in the multiline.

The system displays the following fields in the “Record Statistics” group box:

Created By

The login ID of the user who defined the inspection schedule.

Created Date

The date and time at which the inspection schedule was defined.

Last Modified By

The login ID of the user who last modified the inspection schedule.

Last Modified Date

Defining fixed schedules for an inspection – An overview

Create Inspection Schedule - A summary of the activity

This page allows you to define fixed schedules for carrying out inspection on equipment/location. Fixed schedules are used for carrying out one-time execution of inspection job on a specific date or parameter value.

Fixed schedules can be of two types:

Calendar -based Schedule

Calendar-based fixed schedules are used for carrying out one-time execution of inspection on a specific date. Multiple fixed dates can be specified in one inspection schedule.

Usage-based Schedule

Usage-based fixed schedules are used for carrying out one-time execution of inspection on a specific parameter value. Multiple values for multiple parameters can be specified in one inspection schedule.

Prerequisite
