Update Associated Inspection Schedules

This activity allows you to update the details of the inspection schedules that are created based on the inspection schedule templates. Tell me more.

Select the “Update Associated Schedules” link from the “Inspection Schedule Template” page. Alternatively, select the hyperlinked inspection template number in the multiline of the same page.

The “Update Associated Inspection Schedules” page appears.

Enter the following field, if you wish to update inspection schedules based on a template, other than the template entered in the previous page:

IS Template	The inspection schedule template number for which schedules must be updated (Alphanumeric, 18).
	The system retrieves the description of the template alongside when you press the <Enter> key.
	Zoom facility available
	Press <Enter>.

The system displays the following fields in the “Associated Sch.” multiline:

IS	The inspection schedule that was created from the inspection schedule template.

Note: The system retrieves only those inspection schedules that can be updated based on the template.

Desc.	The description of the inspection schedule.
Status	The status of the schedule, which can be “Active” or “Inactive”.
Inspection On	The maintainable object on which the inspection must be performed. The system displays “Equipment” or “Location”.
Code	The equipment or location on which inspection must be performed.

Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline, to select those schedules that you wish to update based on any changes made to the template.
Click the “Update” pushbutton to update the details of the schedule based on the template.

Updating inspection schedules based on the template – An overview

This activity allows you to update the details of the inspection schedules that are created based on the inspection schedule templates. You can update the schedules with the changes that are made to the template, from which the schedule was created. You can update the schedules for an inspection schedule template that is selected in the previous page. You can also enter an inspection schedule template in this page and update the schedules for it.

The system updates the schedules based on the template and records the login ID of the user who updated the schedules along with the date and time of updating.
