Off-Season

This page allows you to specify the period for which inspection need not be carried out on equipment. Tell me more.

Select the “Off-Season” link from the bottom of the “Edit Inspection Schedule” page.

The “Off-Season” page appears.

The system displays the following fields:

IS	The inspection schedule number for which off-seasonal dates must be defined.
	The description of the schedule is displayed alongside.
	Zoom facility available
Inspection On	The maintainable object on which inspection must be carried out. The system displays “Equipment” or “Location”.
Code	The equipment or location on which inspection must be carried out.
	The description of the equipment or location is displayed alongside.

Enter the following fields in the “Off-Season” multiline:

From Date	The starting date from which inspection need not carried out on the equipment/location (Date Format).
To Date	The date till which inspection need not be carried out on the equipment/location (Date Format). Ensure that the date entered here is later than or equal to the date entered in the “From Date” column.
Annual Recurring	Use the drop-down list box to specify whether inspection need not be carried out between the dates specified in the “From Date” and “To Date” fields every year or only for the current year. The system provides the following options:
	Yes – Select this option if inspection need not be carried out in the specified period for every year.
	No – Select this option if inspection need not be carried out in the specified period only for the current year.
	If you leave the field blank, the system sets the field as “No”.

Note: Ensure that the “From Date – To Date – Annual Recurring” combination is unique to the multiline. If you select “Yes” in this field, ensure that the difference in the dates entered in the “From Date” and “To Date” fields is less than one year.

Remarks

Any additional information about the period that is defined as off-seasonal (Alphanumeric, 255).

Click the “Edit” pushbutton to save the details of the off-seasonal dates.

The system displays the following fields in the “Record Statistics” group box:

Created By	The login ID of the user who defined the off-seasonal dates.
Created Date	The date and time at which the off-seasonal dates were defined.
Last Modified By	The login ID of the user who last modified the off-seasonal dates.
Last Modified Date	The date and time at which the off-seasonal dates were last modified.

Defining the period for which inspection need not be carried out – An overview

This page allows you to specify the period for which inspection need not be carried out on equipment or location. This period is otherwise referred to as “Off-Seasonal” period. You can specify the off-seasonal period, by specifying the start and the end dates of the off-season and any additional information about specifying the period as off-seasonal. You must also specify whether inspection need not be carried out during the specified period only for the current year or for every year.

You can specify whether inspection need not be carried out during the specific period for the current year or for all subsequent years.

Set the “Annual Recurring” field as “Yes” if you do not wish to perform inspection during the specified period for every year.
Set the “Annual Recurring” field as “No” if you do not wish to perform inspection during the specified period for only the current year.
