In this page, you can specify the details of the work orders that you wish to generate for the  inspection schedule. Tell me more.

The “Work Order Details” page appears.

The system displays the following fields:

IS

The inspection schedule number for which work order details must be defined.

 

The description of the schedule is displayed alongside.

Inspection On

The maintainable object on which inspection must be carried out. The system displays “Equipment” or “Location”.

Code

The equipment or location on which inspection must be carried out.

 

The description of the equipment or location is displayed alongside.

Generate WO with the following information ?

Use the drop-down list box to specify whether you wish to generate a work order based on the inspection schedule with the following information. The system provides the options: “Yes” and “No”.

WO On

Use the drop-down list box to specify the maintainable object on which you wish to create the work order. The system provides the options: “Equipment” and “Location”. The system displays the maintainable object displayed in the “Inspection On” field, by default.

Code

The identifier of the equipment or location for which work order must be created (Alphanumeric, 30). Data entry in this field is mandatory if the “Generate WO with The Following Information?” field is set as “Yes”. Ensure the following:

 
  • If you have selected “Equipment” in the “WO On” field, ensure that the code entered here is defined as equipment in the “Create Equipment” activity of the “Equipment Induction” business component and is in the “Active” status.

 
  • If you have selected “Location” in the “WO On” field, ensure that the code entered here is defined as a location in the “Create Location” activity of the “Maintenance Organization” business component and is in the “Active” status.

The system displays the equipment or location displayed in the “Code” field in the header, by default.

Work Group

The work group that is responsible for carrying out the work order (Alphanumeric, 30). Data entry in this field is mandatory if the “Generate WO With The Following Information?” field is set as “Yes” and the “”WO Status” field is set as “Scheduled”. Ensure that the work group is already defined in the “Create Work Group” activity of the “Work Group” business component and is in the “Active” status.

Task / Proc. Code

The task or the procedure that must be carried out for the work order (Alphanumeric, 30). If you have specified a task, ensure that the task has already been defined in the “Create Task” activity of the “Task” business component. If you have specified a procedure, ensure that the procedure is already defined in the “Create Procedure” activity of the “Task” business component.

Zoom facility available

Type

Use the drop-down list box to specify the type of the work order. The system fills in all the inspection order types that have been defined in the “Define WO Types” activity of the “Work Order” business component and are in the “Active” status. Leave the field blank, if you do not wish to specify any work order type. The system leaves the field blank, by default.

Priority

Use the drop-down list box to specify the priority or level of importance of the work order. The system fills in this field with all the priorities that have been defined in the “Define Priority” activity of the “Maintenance Organization” business component and are in the “Active” status. Leave the field blank, if you do not wish to specify any priority. The system leaves the field blank, by default.

Category

Use the drop-down list box to specify the category of the work order. The system fills in all the work order categories that have been defined in the “Define WO Categories” activity of the “Work Order” business component and are in the “Active” status. Leave the field blank, if you do not wish to specify any work order category. The system leaves the field blank, by default.

WO Status

Use the drop-down list box to set the status of the work order. The system provides the options: “Fresh” and “Scheduled”. The system displays “Fresh”, by default.

The system displays the following fields in the “Record Statistics” group box:

Created By

The login ID of the user who defined the work order information.

Created Date

The date and time at which the work order information was defined.

Last Modified By

The login ID of the user who last modified the work order information.

Last Modified Date
