This page allows you to edit the details of a route. Tell me more.
Select the “Edit Route” link in the “Select Route” page. Alternatively, select the hyperlinked route in the multiline of the same page.
The “Edit Route” page appears.
Enter the following fields is you wish to edit a route, other than the route selected in the previous page:

Route |
The route that you wish to edit (Alphanumeric, 30). |

Press <Enter>. The system retrieves the details of the route. |

Status |
Use the drop-down list box to modify the status of the route. The system provides the options: “Active” and “Inactive”. Set the status as “Inactive”, if you do not wish to refer to the route in other activities. The system displays “Active”, by default. |

Desc. |
The description of the route (Alphanumeric, 150). |

Enter the following fields in the “Inspection Points” multiline:

Update On |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the maintainable object on which the inspection must be performed. The system provides the options: “Equipment” and “Location”. |

The equipment or location on which inspection must be performed (Alphanumeric, 30). Ensure the following: |

Enter the following fields:

Inspection Point |
The inspection point on the equipment or location where inspection must be carried out (Alphanumeric, 30). Ensure that the inspection point is already defined in the “Create Inspection Point” activity of the “Equipment Induction” business component and is in the “Active” status. Also ensure that the inspection point is attached to the “Equipment – Parameter” combination in the “Create Equipment” activity of “Equipment Induction” business component or the “Location – Parameter” combination in the “Create Location” activity of the “Maintenance Organization” business component respectively. |
Note: Ensure that the “Update On – Code – Inspection Point” combination is unique to the multiline.

Seq. No. |
The sequence in which the inspection must be done (Integer). Data entry in this field is mandatory if equipment or location is entered in the “Code” field. Ensure that the sequence number is a positive integer and is unique to the multiline. |

Remarks |
Any additional information about the route (Alphanumeric, 255). |
Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline, to delete the rows that you do not wish to include in the route.
Click the Delete icon in the tool bar above the multiline, to delete the selected rows in the multiline.
Click the “Edit” pushbutton to modify the route.
Note: The system modifies the route and refreshes the “Description” field in the multiline.
The system displays the following fields in the “Record Statistics” group box:

Created By |
The login ID of the user who created the route. |

Created Date |
The date and time at which the route was created. |
|
Last Modified By |
The login ID of the user who last modified the route. |
|
Last Modified Date |
The date and time at which the route was last modified. |
This page allows you to edit the details of a route. You can edit a route that is selected in the previous page. You can also enter a route directly in this page and edit its details. You can edit the details of the route such as its description and its status. You can redefine the equipment or location and the inspection point which forms a part of the route.
The system modifies the route and stores the login ID of the user who modified the route along with the date and time of modification.
