This activity allows you to view the details of abnormal parameter values that are recorded on equipment or location. Tell me more.

To search for equipment or location

Inspection On

Use the drop-down list box to specify whether you wish to view abnormal parameter values for equipment or location. The system provides the options: “Equipment” and “Location”. The system displays “Equipment” by default.

Code

The identifier of the equipment or location for which abnormal parameter values must be viewed (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the code in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all equipment or location whose codes are similar to the code entered here.

Parameter

The parameter of the equipment or location for which you wish to view abnormal parameter values (Alphanumeric, 30). The system retrieves all the equipment or locations to which similar parameters are attached.

Alarm Level

The alarm based on which you wish to retrieve abnormal parameter values based on the alarm description that has been defined (Alphanumeric, 12). You can enter the alarm level in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all equipment and location for which similar alarm levels are defined.

Action

Use the drop-down list box to retrieve equipment or location based on the action that must be taken for the abnormal parameter values. The system provides the options: “Work Request”, “Work Order” and “Alert”. Leave the field blank to retrieve equipment or locations irrespective of the action that must be performed. The system leaves the field blank, by default.

Location

The location of the equipment (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the location in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all equipment whose locations are similar to the location entered here.

From

The staring date from which you wish to retrieve abnormal parameter values (Date Format).

To

The date till which you wish to retrieve abnormal parameter values (Date Format). Ensure that the date entered in this field is later than the date entered in the “From” field.

The system retrieves the following fields in the “Search Results” multiline:

Code

The equipment or location retrieved by the system.

Desc.

The description of the equipment or location.

Parameter

The parameter for which abnormal values are displayed.

Inspection Point

The inspection point on the equipment on which the parameter is inspected.

UOM

The unit of measurement of the parameter.

Parameter Value

The present value of the parameter.

Date

The date on which the parameter value is recorded.

Time

The time at which the parameter value is recorded.

Alarm Level

The description of the alarm, which is indicative of the criticality of the parameter value.

Action

The action that must be performed based on the abnormal value.

Transaction No.

The work order or work request number that was raised for carrying out the action based on the abnormal value.
